What Are Sea Scouts?
Welcome to the fun and excitement of Sea Scouting! The adventure that began in 1911. Organized 1 year after the Boy Scouts, The Sea Scouts are the oldest youth boating program in the United States. We provide a co-educational environment where you will receive expert training in Seamanship, Navigation, Rules of the Road, Safety, First Aid, Swimming, Small and Large Boat Handling, Sailing, SCUBA, Marlinespike, Boat Construction, Maintenance, and Repairs. You'll be active in camping, social events, tours, regattas, excursions, and seamanship contests. You will have the opportunity to develop skills that can lead to exciting careers in the maritime industry. Not only do we strive to improve boating skills and water safety ,we emphasize the need for knowledge of citizenship and passing along our great maritime heritage.About Sea Scouts...
